Keepsake

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words.

Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviors.

Keep your behaviors positive because your behaviors become your habits.

Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values.

Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.”

Happy New Year Alexys!!!

We may not always have control over the situations placed before us in life, but we do have control over how we preceive them. Not only thinking positive, but Being positive really makes a difference. It actually gives us strength, where as negativity brings us further down.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Lucid,
I agree, we certainly do have control over our perception. We can't go wrong by being positive and fully engaged in our lives and loves.

Happy weekend my friend.

Happy New Year!

Surface,
I find that simplicity is the best teacher. It gives us room for our own interpretation.

Thanks.

Annie,
That's putting it mildly. :D

Maithri,
"Wowzer! (oh lord now i'm a character from 'oliver twist' ;)"

You are so funny.

I thought it was the perfect end of a week or the beginning of another one. Simple simplicity.

Lots of love back at cha my dear.

Eve,
They really are simple instructions for living. :D

I love this quote. Thought control is integral to so many philosophical schools. And Ghandi made the reasoning behind it sound much simpler and yet more powerful then the supernatural wording others use...

Vasilisa,
Simplicity is the best teacher in anything. If we try to complicate it with verbosity, we often lose the meaning. Ghandi was a master at living and knew how to use simplicity to its fullest.

Bon Ami 7:33 AM

The concept is so simple when stated that way that I almost wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?". Thanks for sharing.

Bon Ami,
It's like a V8 moment isn't it? (Referring to the commercial when people are hit on the forehead and they say, "I could of had a V8.) LOL

Hopefully you know which commercial I am talking about?

Anyway, yes I agree with you that the concept is simple and we shouldn't forget that simplicity is always around us.
